How is Winton viewed in 2019?

How is the firm viewed these days? I've heard it's gone through a number of changes both in terms of corporate strategy/direction and team structures/headcount over the last several years so was wondering if anyone could provide any up to date info on its standing nowadays.

Would it be a good name to have on the CV even if it were in a role that's not properly front office - e.g. more of a data/systems focused role but still with some exposure to the signals the quant researchers are generating?
