How is work/life balance in Economic Consulting?
Just recently accepted a job offer and was wondering if anyone could shed some light into WLB and hours worked. I recently accepted an offer in econ consulting at a top firm, which I am very grateful for, but at the same time am getting cold feet.

Was working at a econ consulting firm prior to MBA so can speak about my experience. Work life balance will definitely depend on the cases you're on but generally it's pretty good. On average I worked 50 - 60 hours per week, and it's pretty rare that I would go above the 60-hours mark. I think it's a pretty solid gig to have straight out of college, especially considering the pay.
Thanks for sharing! Did you still find enough time for yourself (free time) and/or studying and preparing for MBA despite 50-60 hours worked per week? Was econ consulting worth it for you in the end?
