How long does it take for BB to give an offer after the final-round interview?
Greetings,
Newbie here, I hope I posted at the right forum!
Just wondering do you have any insights on the hiring process of GS (particularly ER?) or other BB (which perhaps can be a proxy?)?
-How long does it normally take from the final round to eventually getting the offer/rejection news?
-Will they reject other final-round candidates before confirming a place for the hired candidate?
-How many candidates do you think there are in the final stage?
-Any other insights you can share?
Thanks so much.
Rejections are usually 1-3 days, offers depend, if they really liked you a lot of times they will contact you a few hours or a day after the interview, and sometimes if they are deciding it could be 4 days- 2 weeks to get an acceptance.
What Gronk said is correct. If you do not hear back the same day or at least by the next morning chances aren't looking good.
thanks for the answers, will they reject the final-round candidates on the same day they give the offer though? or will they wait until the accepted candidate signs the contract and passes the background check before they reject the other final-round candidates?

Hi, how long does it really take for the interviewers to come back to you, for a experienced hire role?
ive seen people move laterally and it was a pretty quick process. maybe within 1-2 days, even sooner if you did well and it was a final rounder and the place needs bodies quick.
normally, the HR will contact you or they will just email you with a written offer? should i call HR to ask for status?
I was called about an hour after I left the office.
