how many days to wait for a reply before making call?

so in Jan I emailed a couple alums seeking advice about internships, one person who is a global head of markets at a BB contacted me recently (6 months later) because he didn't see my email until now. He asked for my resume and offered to give me a tour of the trading floor when I'm in town.

I followed up 3 days later (was traveling), attached my resume, and also said I already have an internship but would still be interested in learning about what he does (my background is relevant to his field).

It's been 4 days and there has not been a reply - usually it doesn't take this long. I understand he must be extremely busy being the global head etc so in this situation how many days should I wait for a reply?

OR, should I just give him a call tomorrow and say "hi, I wanted to introduce myself and also follow up on my email and see if you got it" etc? Would this be annoying?

I'm not sure if I'm being too impatient, but I don't want to seem passive. Thanks.

I would not call him. Considering he took 6 months to get back to you, I would wait a few more days and then email him again and say that you are just checking to make sure he received your resume and that you will be in NYC on X days. Some people work better when you give them dates you are available and they can work their schedule around you.
