1, from my little part time job. Technically 2, if you count the few hundred bucks I get from writing essays for high school kids.

I just have people in my community who don’t speak English very well and they tell me to do it for them - kind of like the gigs you can find on sites like freelancer. Except, I don’t use freelancer or the other sites. It started with this kids mom asking me to do it for him and she gave me a 100 bucks. After a few months more and more people started asking me to write essays, I don’t charge a per hour rate. I charge depending on how much research is supposed to go into the essay and when it’s due. To give you rough estimate, I get 150-200 pretty consistently these days. Roughly around 400ish a month.

One.  My Job.  There's an "Outside Business Activities Clause" written into my contract.  I'm also under a blanket trading ban from now until we release earnings too.

AM is seriously restrictive when it comes to these things.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.

Hi David, didn't expect running into you here, that Lemkau, glad we finally kicked him out.

1- Portfolio returns

2-Equity in startup, to date worth roughly 125k-250k (depending who you ask) although highly illiquid with high probability of failure.

2.5 I plan on using the portfolio returns to start putting down payments on multi family units, or maybe even a 64+ room apartment complex if I can get a cosign from some partners with capital.

I'm completely ignorant on RE investing, but could a multifamily or an apartment complex really provide more returns than a portfolio of equities? Perhaps you're doing it to supplement cash flows so prioritizing income over capital gains?
