How Many Interviews Is Too Many?
Interviewing with a large asset manager in the NYC area for an internal wholesaler role. I have been through four separate interviews, all were virtual. I conducted a presentation and met with more senior level managers in the first couple rounds. What threw me for a loop is in my past experience the presentation usually is the last step for this type of role. However, in this instance the firm asked me to conduct another interview with a what seemed like more junior management.
Is four interviews too many? What are people’s opinions and thoughts on why the interview process went this route?
4 interviews isn't that uncommon. They probably just want you to meet more people at the firm and make sure everyone's on board with you
