How much of a discount in ER compensation (compared to IBD)?

I am looking at two offers (FT post MBA), one in ER (BB)and one in IBD(MM leader..pays as good as BB if not more).
Hence a few questions. These are compensation centric but it's very important for me. Kindly take your time to answer them...
a-) How much of a discount is there in compensation in ER compared to IBD (average - average/Achiever-Acheiver) in the first 3-5 years post MBA.
b-) Exit options in ER and how soon can they be vested. Are any of these gold options(like PE with IBD)
c-) Hot sectors in ER these days in London.
d-) How good is the ER comparatively at Morgan Stanley/Credit Suisse/Lehman.
e-) Is there a private equity exit available?
f-) Average compensation figure after 5 years.

Thanks
Nik
