How much quant stuff is involved in IB?

I was wondering how much quant stuff was involved in IB overall. Most of my classes now are specialized towards to preparing one for job as a financial analyst (taking classes like Quantitative Investment Management, Financial Modeling, Economic and Financial Real Time Modeling, Computational Finance, etc.) but I heard from my adviser that this would only be well suited for analysts in a hedge fund but I am hoping to enter IB. How much quant stuff exactly is involved in IB and is there such thing as a quant analyst at an investment bank or is it just a general title?

Next to zero... This one time though, I had to run a regression.

Seriously though, IBD is corporate advisory, which means that everything you do must be able to be explained to your client. It doesn't matter if you run the most rigorous and quantitative models that accurately forecast everything perfectly; if you can't boil it down to terms your client can understand and is familiar with, then it's useless.
