How much should you trust admission counselors ?
It may happen that you don't have a good profile but still your counselor may tell you that you have a good profile and thus tell you to go for your MBA (for obvious reasons) and give the GMAT even when your chances of getting into a college of your choice would be very slim.
How do you make a fair assessment of your profile and correlate it to what the counselors are saying about it?
