How often do people in IBD check their school emails?

Curious if whether I should send emails to school emails for alumni or email their work emails. For those in the industry, how often do you check your school email?

Send emails to their work emails using your school email. Though I am not working full-time yet, I am very sure that most people will not be checking their school email once they start working because they will already have too many emails to worry about on their work email.

When I work full-time though, I plan to link my school email to my work email so that all emails coming to my school email will go to my work email. I am pretty sure not everyone does this though.

Most schools actually shut down graduating seniors' email addresses within 6 months. Work email is what they are looking at all day, always use that unless it is a personal relationship, then use their personal email.
