How Quantitative is an international Masters in Finance?
Just out of curiosity, how quantitative is a Masters in Finance? I know MIT and Princeton take pride in their quantitative programs, but what about international programs?
Bocconi - Finance
HEC Paris - International Finance
Esade Business School - Finance
Stockholm School of Economics - Finance
These schools mainly listed a target GMAT or GRE score but I haven't been able to find anything else.
I tested out my universities math requirement, which was just calculus. MIT's program suggested linear algebra, stochastic calculus, and probability. Is this just the quantitative nature of MIT? Does anybody know about London Business Schools Masters in Management? Would it be a valid alternative if my quantitative background isn't up to par?
If a Masters in Finance is so quantitative then what's the difference in pursuing a Masters in Financial Engineering?
These programs are also for Pre-Experience.
Sorry if I've asked so many questions, I'm just looking some input.
