How to break into Finance Industry in India?

Hey! I have an undergraduate degree B.E (Hons.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering along with Minor in Finance from BITS Pilani. I have cleared CFA Level 1 last June and attempting Level 2 this June 2018. I graduated in 2017 and have been working for an Adtech firm as a Data Analyst. I am really interested in pursuing my career in finance but not able to figure out "How should I go forward with my profile to land a job in any of the big IB or Trading firms in India".
Working as a Data Analyst for the last 8 months has made me comfortable with cleaning and analyzing data (Excel, SQL and R) and how to make sense of data for the clients to understand.
I have no hands on experience in the finance industry but like to enter the industry as soon as possible. It would be really helpful if anyone here on WSO forums could guide me and help me with profile evaluation.
Thanks!

Yes it will be difficult for you. What you should do now is to approach some contacts that you or your parents might have and take the first hand experience.

But this is a struggling thing to do. What I would tell you is to go for a major in finance or do an MBA. It will give your resume a boost with the masters degree and will help you landing into the finance world too..
