How to conduct Due Diligence with 0 information on private company?

  • Currently doing an investment analysis on a Private Company
  • The only information I have is their website, 0 financials
  • Its a startup with basically 0 information about them online
  • My question is whats the best way to go about figuring things out like Financial Analysis/Valuation, Business Model, etc.

S&P Capital IQ has info on private companies. Free at school as a member , after you graduate, not.

You won't be able to get anything. Even if you have a sub to PrivCo or Hoover's, if it's an early stage company without any real backing, you won't find much.

In which country? In many European countries you can actually get their - usually very simple/limited - annual reports either for free or with a very low admin fee.

e.g. UK: CompaniesHouse (free), Germany: Unternehmensregister (Free), Italy: RegistroImprese/Cerved (<5 euro), Spain: einforma, ...
