How to get Modeling Experience
Hello all - Currently an analyst at an investment bank in a tier 2 city.
I really want to build strong modeling skills - will people I interview with respect that I've built models in say Wall Street Prep and the alike or is that laughable on the other end of the phone? I have a good relationship with a few boutiques, so I can always see if those guys will send me some modeling practice as well. Just want to lateral out eventually and don't want my lack of model experience to be the nail in my coffin. (Associate and VP here do a majority of the modeling)
