How to improve chances for H/S/W? (Traditional Profile Applicant)
Hi everyone, I am seeking advice about improving my chances for H/S/W. Would really appreciate any suggestions/advice/comments.
Stats:
Education: Mid-tier Ivy, 3.7+ GPA, Philosophy + STEM double major
Work Experience: IB analyst at a mid-tier BB's non-US office
International
Asian Female
Haven't taken the GMAT yet, but likely to get a 750+ (Had a 335+ GRE already)
Plan to work for another 2-4 years before applying to MBA
Likely to move to a pre-MBA PE role after two years at BB
I've heard quite a lot of stories about the b-school admissions. It seems like my profile is typical and may not have any advantages comparing the stellar applicants (Wharton to GS to Blackstone). My GPA is average for HBS and below average for GSB. I have very limited engagement in extracurricular activities so no leadership roles (Pretty much stayed at dorm for four years).
As I still have a few years before applying, just wondering if there are any ways to improve my profile. Thanks!
