What should I say in the email besides briefly introducing myself. Should I add him on linkedin or call him or wait until he responds to my email. Thanks.

nah don't add him on linked in until you have spoken with him a few times. if you want to include a link to your LinkedIn profile, put it in your email signature. its a little more subtle than just including it in the body of your email
Thanks LIBOR. I just want to phrase my email correctly so I wouldn't come off like a dumbass. I was thinking of saying in the email to tell me about his experiences and if it were possible to discuss his firm in a bit more detail. I'm not sure if I should ask to meet him for an informational interview or to ask to talk on the phone first. Thanks.
I look them up on LinkedIn and then send add requests with a little note attached. It's worked for me thus far..
