How to network at a conference

I have been in the industry for about 1 and half year but as a consultant. I have worked in some BB and MM banks mostly in operations. I have been looking for ways to get myself out there and learn more about the Finance, Investment Banking Industry and meet more people. I used to feel down when some BB would have events and I would miss them or have no idea how to get in. I finally found a conference, payed for it and registered. The theme of this conference will focus more on Capital, Business Venture capital etc.. I am still excited to go and meet people and network since I can be an introvert. There will be some Executive Directors, MD's and speakers from some big firms. Any tips on what I should do or not do? What should I ask? Any advice will be greatly appreciated
