How to prepare for additional interview after final round?

I finished all rounds of the interview process at a REPE firm, and was told it is between me and another candidate for the position.

They asked if it would be possible for me to come into the office because they typically meet candidates at least once in person before they would potentially hire them.

I was told to block off a few hours for the meeting, and was wondering if anyone has any ideas of what I should expect in the meeting and how I could prepare. I've already spoken to 6 people at the firm for 45-60 mins each. I didn't get any technical questions, and was told by one of the head people that they're mostly looking to hire someone who is smart and dedicated to real estate, and they would teach him/her what he/she needs to know. I'm kind of nervous they're going to all of a sudden ask me technical questions or give me a case study, even though they've made no mention of that.

Any guidance on how I could approach this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Just be prepared to act normally in a social setting probably an airport test make sure they like you as a person, maybe they take you out to lunch with some guys

Read up on some sports, read up on the news, keep current on your typical real estate interview topics as you already have been, be prepared to talk about some fun hobbies or interests you have

I would go extra deep researching the firm/past deals/clients/investors/people, etc. At the latter stages, you can actually impress people by implicitly showing you know what is going on, what they are worried about, and be in tune with the business. Have recommendations, ideas, or thoughts that could actually help them. Do some legwork, write stuff up, do real research. It's not about how "spot on" or "good" this work is (assuming it looks/reads highly professional), but the fact you took the time/effort to prepare. It sends the signal that if you will work your ass off to get the job, you must really want it and will thus work your ass off once hired. If you have prepared some notes/items/work product and the other applicant hasn't..... you get the idea. Just use your best judgement as to what is best given the firm. Hopefully you have kept good mental/written notes from the prior interviews, that should be the basis of starting such an endeavor.

This is likely an interview to figure out fit within the firm from a culture/style perspective, as is the case with many latter stage interviews (and to get "sign off" from key people ahead of an offer being issued). You could get hit with technical questions, but given what you have described, I doubt it's highly likely to be the focus but one of the new interviewers may just like to ask them. Case study/modelling tests are usually for screening, so would be odd to see that just dropped on you. Instead, I'd guess more on the deeply personal questions (career/background/schooling related, but also hobby and just to see what kind of a person you are... i.e. not an asshole).
