Awesome. But it sucks that it's during a pandemic... But what are things that you have wanted to do but have put off doing? Learning a skill? Going to some place? Reading a certain book? Dating 15 random people? Etc etc. If you can't think of anything, it may be worth having a small journal with a pen in hand (or, heck, your phone) and writing/typing it out. You'll be surprised what you get over the next few months. Tada! In January, look at the list and there you go, you'll have stuff to do in your free time over six months. I'm envious. The time will fly, I assure you. Hopefully you will enjoy whatever it is that you end up doing.

Good Luck

I used to do Asia-Pacific PE (kind of like FoF). Now I do something else but happy to try and answer questions on that stuff.

Hike the Appalachian Trail / Plan a long trip around National Parks / Plan a long trip around museums / Teach English in a Costa Rica / Travel down the New England Coast / Travel down the West Coast / Hike the Camino de Santiago in Spain / Volunteer at an orphanage

National Parks, the American West, Alaska, the borders with Mexico are still open, Costa Rica for some states, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Croatia, Maldives

the world is your oyster, have the time of your life and see the world (or as much of it as you can with COVID restrictions)

Find a few things you enjoy that also translate into good talking points since people will probably ask what you were up to for the last 6 months. Focusing on a sport (golf/basketball/etc), trying out a new language, learning a bit of code, studying for the GMAT, traveling or visiting friends at different schools/states are all things that you could enjoy while you have a ton of time on your hands. Was in a similar situation, definitely make the most of it

Travel is the cliché answer for a reason– you only get so many extended breaks like this when you're young and you really should take advantage.
