How to split loans into A + B notes
I’m advising a fin tech company who is working on alternative financing for small businesses. The idea would be to obtain a line of credit to make loans and then split and sell the loans. I’ve been tasked on how to realistically and legally create a marketplace where we can split and sell our loans. Does anyone have a primer or a resource? Conceptually I get the idea but how does one actually split a loan after you have issued it? I know one way is to already have your A lender worked out. But how do you do it if you issue the whole loan?
