About to graduate from Undergrad and I am looking for advice and resources to learn more about setting myself for financial success. Topics such as Traditional/Roth IRA, Transfering 401k between jobs, Investment accounts as opposed to Savings accounts, investing and pay min Loans or pay off loans, etc... I understand some of these topics are subjective but having resources to make informed choices is what I am hoping for with this thread. Thanks!

At least you have modest goals. FP and PWM in general is much more about selling than actually planning. the CFP nails the planning end of things rather well (Disclaimer: a cousin works for the CFP Board) I did have a rather interesting conversation about a decade ago back when I worked on a FP hotline. Customer: "I need planning help and I need a CFP" me: "Maam, I don't have the CFP, but I am a CFA Charterholder" Customer: "My friend told me that I need a CFP." after a few minutes more of back and forth, I took her name, and put her in the call-back queue.

The only difference between Asset Management and Investment Research is assets. I generally see somebody I know on TV on Bloomberg/CNBC etc. once or twice a week. This sounds cool, until I remind myself that I see somebody I know on ESPN five days a week.
