How to View my own Blog?
Okay -- I can't for the life of me figure out how to view my own blog posts. I know how to write em, just not how to view em. Any help?

Wow, I was about to arrogantly post instructions, but I can't seem to find it anymore either.
Though I don't know how to find one's-own blog, here's a link to YOURS (CompBanker's) if it's any help:

Hey Comp, there's a notebook-looking thing right beside the bookmark in your blog posts, that takes you to all your blogs. Or do you mean you can't find them? You can just track your posts I guess...
Thanks Nouveau Richie -- I suppose I'll just need to refer to that link if I ever want to see my blog.
Jorgé -- No idea which notebook you're referring to, but I'm trying to find an easy path to my blog's root directory that doesn't involve first finding a blog post.
You still have to go to your blog to see the notebook though so I guess you should bookmark it instead? That'd be easier for sure.
How do you even create your own blog on WSO?
i want to know too
Upper right hand corner, just beneath the Twitter and Facebook logos, there's a drop-down menu. One of options is "write a blog post."
Can a post be in a group and blog simultaneously?
No, a piece of content can only be one "content type", but nothing really stopping you from copying and pasting one of your blog posts into a group.
CompBanker - thanks for bringing this up. We are making some additional tweaks to the user profile pages (showing which user is certified, % of profile complete, etc.) so I will make sure we add in a "View my Blog" button there to make it easier to find.
Alternatively, you can always click the track tab to see your latest posts. If any of you want to be featured as a Top WSO Blogger (http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/top-wso-bloggers), send me an e-mail -- WallStreetOasis.com>[email protected] and we can talk about frequency of posting, best practices, publishing schedules and front page promotion, etc etc etc.... or for something more informal you can just go under the "Monkey See, Monkey Do" tab and "Write a Blog Post" whenever you feel like it.
Thanks, Patrick
Patrick, I love the intros you wrote for each of your top bloggers. However, you spelled Midas "Mulligan" Magoo wrong. I'm surprised he hasn't found you and destroyed you in your sleep for such a major infraction.
ha, thanks....fixed
Ok, this is now fixed...if you click on my account now you'll see we changed some stuff...by tomorrow you'll also see a "% Profile Complete" for those of you that haven't filled everything in...
Patrick, Is there a way a user can remove the % completed feature. I think its a good idea to have it somewhere, but I really don't like having to look at it in the top left of my profile (or anywhere on my profile). I think it's a good idea in theory, but I don't know if I, or most people, will even attempt to complete the profile.
Gekko, that's the point - it's there to annoy the shit out of you until you actually fill in everything. :-)
Having that data would make our Compensation Database and user stats much more detailed / interesting. Plus, I'd like to encourage more people to reveal more about who they actually are instead of hiding behind anonymity...that was also a bitch to get done and cost some $s so I'm reluctant to move it. I think it serves as a good reminder what you have left to finish your profile...plus it takes like 30 seconds to fill out all the fields in the entire profile.
