How to walk through your resume after undergrad?
What is the proper way to introduce yourself after you have graduated college? I am a first-year analyst and am prepping behaviorals in anticipation of PE HH meetings.
During undergrad, I followed this format and stuck to 60-90 seconds:
- Background: School, major, where I'm from, and interests
- Spark: What got me interested in finance/banking
- Growing interest: Rattling off internship experiences chronologically
- Close: Why I'm here/why this firm
How should I structure my story to incorporate deal experience? Should I talk about undergrad PE internships? Should I go chronologically? How long should it take?
If anyone would be willing to post a loose framework of how they introduce themselves, it would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers!
