How will coronavirus affect consulting travel?
With some of the experiments going on related to remote work because of the virus, I'm wondering if consultants' travel to client sites will be changed in the long term. Maybe coronavirus will force firms to try a different model? This might especially be the case with consulting firms whose employees sometimes travel Monday-Thursday every single week for some projects. What does everyone think about how coronavirus might affect travel in consulting?
Some firms are already restricting travel.
No, I don't think this will affect teams long term. Working in person is still more effective.
I think the coronavirus might affect the activity of travel consultants, but I hope it won't last for a long period.
