How Will Regulation A+ Affect VC?

Curious to see what consensus is here on it. IMO, there have been few very properly marketed reg A+ offerings, and even then, there have been some pretty big ones that would have traditionally required a VC. They make a ton of sense instead of doing a traditional series A/B/etc...

Moreover, these raises are being done on great terms for the company raising since retail investors putting cash into them have no idea what they're buying.

I know some VCs are cluing into reg A+ as a partner at a well known VC I was talking to the other day mentioned being briefed on it.
