I’m interning in a back-office role at a boutique investment bank for the summer and while I’m happy to have an internship, I’d like to try to move into a front office role for full time after graduation. Does anyone have any experience with this type of transition? Would it be too early to start reaching to people about full time roles? I think I waited too long last summer and that’s part of the reason I didn’t land a front office internship for this summer.
