How would you rather spend your year as an analyst?
Would you rather spend your year constantly pitching and never winning deals? But getting reps in with DCF / LBO / M&A modeling + positioning the client and deal ... but never win a mandate
Or would you rather work on a 'problem deal' where the bank has been working on a sell-side for this client for a year already and hasn't found a buyer ... then your team started reaching back out to potential investors and its your job as a first-year to handle the outreach process, redo the CIM, tie up the model with new projections (but most of the work has already been lifted)?
Which os better?
