It is still happening, however I will also have a lot of free time to do what I choose.
Drinking heavily
i would teach english in a foreign country for 6 months to a year...the work is easy...not very long hours...the money is good...you get to travel around...meet people from all over. maybe even do this for 6 months in one country..and then 6 months in another. china and japan are great options for this....also south america or europe...its a great way to spend time in a foreign country for free and get a different experience than most other people will ever have
Travel - take advantage of the cheap airfare. Consider putting yourself in a position to have experiences that you won't have when you begin school.
If you like kids au pairing is decent pay/ rent & utilities free/ lots of travel opportunities esp if based in EU
