HS Junior - Advice/What can I do?

Hi all,

TL;DR at the bottom

Completely new to WSO so bare with me if anything is off. As the title says, I’m a high school junior and want to know how I can set myself up for a future in business / IB. I have messed up my first couple of years in high school and am hoping it’s not too late to succeed. Here are my stats:
9th grade: 3.5/4.3 gpa
10th grade: 3.9/4.3gpa
11th grade (first semester, only 2 classes on transcript):4.3/4.3 gpa
AP Stats, AP Gov, College level class in accounting in Junior year

Haven’t taken any standardized tests but am planning on working/studying until I get a 34+ on the ACT. I think this is realistically achievable.

Poor ECs (business club member for 3 years, won a 2nd place in a state wide business conference, started Debate this year)

My stats aren’t good enough for US target schools but with a high ACT score I think I have a good shot at top Canadian schools like UBC, UofT, McGill. Is it worth going to one of these schools and then go to US for work? My dream is to work on Wall Street and I think if I take advantage of opportunities I have at 16, I’ll have a lot of time to set myself up as a strong applicant. I’m wondering if there’s even a shot at me making US top schools if I were to start better ECs or if there’s no point in even trying for schools like Stern or Wharton or would I be better off going to Canadian top schools? Or go to some random US school instead?

TL;DR: HS Junior, average grade, how can I better college application, can I go to canada colleges or will that hurt me if I want to work in US, anything I need to know that will help as a high schooler?
