HSBC 2016 Hiring Freeze affecting graduate jobs?

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-01-31…

"HSBC Holdings Plc will impose a hiring and pay freeze this year as part of its drive to cut as much as $5 billion in costs by the end of 2017."

Does anyone know if this will this affect incoming graduates for 2016/ ongoing interview processes? Cheers

No comments? I currently got an oral offer and right now quite anxious everyday since the line manager told me they are waiting for the final headcount decision. Anyone close to the matter can give some insight? Cheers
