This is likely dumb but say you're recruiting for FT and you're on a call with an analyst at a firm you've applied to.
If the call goes well, should you ask them to put you in touch with more senior folks at the firm/those in charge of recruiting or just ask the analyst themselves to put in a good word for you with HR? How much does this depend on firm size/structure?
