I would say that it took a lot of networking and blind applying online. I applied for this job online and got a callback that way. I will say that I GOT MY RESUME DONE PROFESSIONALLY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS. I DON'T BELIEVE I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE RESPONSES I DID WITHOUT THIS. Send out hundreds of resumes to different firms. Don't leave anyone out. Apply to jobs like you would search for clients as a stockbroker, meaning hit as many as possible. That's about it.
You got a job as a stockbroker? Be careful with those "salary in four years" figures. The majority of people in those jobs don't make it past the first two years so there is survivorship bias. Just saying, don't count your chickens.

Did you go to a non-target? Also before searching for a job, were you employed at somewhere else or graduated from college and couldn't land a offer. Did you get your resume done by WSO?
I got my resume done by a professional for free by someone who went to my law school. I graduated from law school in 2009 and really had been looking for a full-time job ever since. The position is not a stockbroker but is a Series 6 and 63 type role. See above for my story.
I went to a target law school but non-target undergrad.
