I had an interview at Goldman

This friday I had a phone interview with GS for a position I am highly qualified for (digital strategy analyst). The interview went well because I was very prepared for it and, for the reason of this post, I was only asked two questions about relevant past experience. I was shocked. I expected more. My thoughts this weekend have been consumed with analysis of the interview, "was the fact she ask few questions good or bad?" What is your opinion.

Why the hell were you shocked. You said the interview went well. There are a multitude of reasons why she might've only asked two questions about your past experience:

1) The GS position that you're "highly qualified" for doesn't really have many required skills or experience 2) Your past experiences were thoroughly explained in your resume 3) Maybe your interviewer realized that you weren't a good fit from other cues (e.g. ego) and decided to wing the rest of the interview

But anyways...as a digital strategy analyst, you'd be in charge of GS's twitter/instagram feed right?

I understand it is a lesser position than anything having to do with banking or the like. None the less, I am still excited and very grateful. Where there hell does this ego stuff come from? Anyways, thank you for your input
