I have it down to 3 MBA Admissions firms and feedback would be helpful
I'm applying for b-school this year and I've been doing my due diligence with vetting consulting firms. After a countless amount of calls, I'm debating between 3 firms at the moment and I'm wondering if anyone here has experience working with some of these folks?
The top 3 are Stacy Blackman, Admissionado, and mbaMission. I'd like a comprehensive service (front to end). I'm willing to shell out some bucks for the support but I just want to make sure I'm getting the best services out there. I'd also like a firm that does full time and part time programs.
I'm a finance professional with a 760 GMAT going for top 10 programs.
If you've worked with these firms any feedback you have would be much appreciated.
Hey ctunney, I think you deserve a response...heck, everyone does. We're listening, sorry about the delay ...my best guess at places on WSO that could help:
Or maybe the following users have something to say: guff29 capitalstack IB_Research24
Hope that helps.
Every year Stratus Admissions Counseling works with clients who spend money, time and effort with mbaMission, Stacy Blackman and other 'top' admissions consulting firms who fell short in delivering on their promises.
Seriously, we had a candidate come to us who worked with a former admissions director who was affiliated with one of the aforementioned firms. This 'industry insider' didn't give the client the expected support and actually disappeared mid-way through the application development process.
Stratus has the most 5 star reviews of any admissions consulting firm on google
We've worked with clients on full and part-time applications - sometimes with clients who switch gears mid-way through the process due to changes in their work situation/company support of their MBA aspirations.
Don't hesitate to reach out for a free consultation.
We would be glad to connect you with clients who have referred their friends and colleagues to us.
Yikes. That's good to know. Thank you for the candid response.
I guess I'm glad I used my instincts and didn't go with one of those guys. I ended up choosing Shana Cohen at Admissionado who has already exceeded my expectations, but thank you for the insight and assistance. Hoping to share some positive news later this year!
May I possibly ask you why you didn't even consider Sandy Kreisberg (HBS Guru). He seems pretty knowledgeable, doesn't he?
