I interned at EY TAS during Parthenon merger; How bad would it be to put Parthenon on resume?

Hey guys,

So basically last year, a day into my EY TAS internship, the Parthenon merger happened. We got an email announcement, and so on so forth.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think EY TAS technically operates under the Parthenon brand (or at least "Parthenon-EY") post-merger. Would it be a terrible idea for me to grab some extra prestige points by putting Parthenon instead of EY TAS on my resume?

Or maybe some variation of:
EY TAS (now Parthenon Group)
Parthenon Group (previously EY TAS)

Please don't judge haha - just a guy making sure he's not pushing the embellishing envelope too far.

I know folks who got hired by PRTM, Diamond used to put PRTM (part of PwC), or PRTM PwC...something like that. Now that's for people who had a legit reason to do this, and even then, it looked cheap.

I generally look at resumes at work, and if I see this I would confirm one of two things: 1) where you hired before the merger? 2) if not, where you hired in this group directly?

If you say the second, I would grill on this, and ask you how you felt about it, what do you think of E&Y, of Parthenon, etc.. Easily you can come off as a snub, a liar, or maybe genuine.

There were only 60 people globally from EY who were merged into Parthenon and they were only some of the CAS (now CFS) group within TAS. In the US, these were two small groups in New York and Chicago. If you were in TAS and not in CAS this would be a pretty disingenuous, even more so if you were in advisory.
