I NEED GUIDANCE

Dear readers,
I was writing this in a rush, so I hope this post is not too difficult to read.

First, I want to give you guys some background about myself:

I am currently a Senior in college, graduating next Spring. I am doing a Finance major in Baruch College and I am sitting currently at a 3.6 GPA. My minor is business communication. I also want to add, that i spent my first two years in bad school in Illinois and later transferred with a 3.9 GPA to NYC.
Unfortunately I never did any banking/finance internship since i started college, I only have a crapy internship I did in 2014 in an Insurance company when I was in High School. I also want to add that I am an International student and will need sponsorship after my OPT finishes (Summer 2021).

Fortunately, i have always been very active in campus, I was a college athlete with scholarship for three years, I am currently involved in a Finance club at campus (no leadership position) and was involved in the Treasury Cabinet in my former fraternity for two years. I raised over 5,000 $ and did a lot of volunteering work. Recruited new member...
I am proficient with excel and successfully completed the WSP premium package program. (Some people say it does not really count, but i believe that it is better than nothing.)
I have done lots of relevant coursework and excelled in every single course.
I speak three languages, english is my worst language.
My resume has been reviewed multiple times by professionals, and they say that I cannot squeeze anything more out of it.

Main interests: Portfolio Management, Investment analysis, leveraged finance, project finance, private equity (of course)...

My current situation: I have been trying to apply to Fall and Spring internships since last semester. I have had 0 luck. I have only landed 4 hirevue interviews and two super-days since June 2019. I have applied to at least 500 companies since August 2018. I have been trying to secure a summer SA positions in big banks, boutiques, and finally i am applying to everything i can get my hands on. I have networked with alumni, settled coffee-chats but they did not provide me with any help. Most internships are for Juniors, but I am a senior, and 99% of entry level positions require internship experience. I am stuck in this vicious cycle and I am starting to feel that I wont be able to obtain anything, and if I dont get a job at least three months after graduating (June 2020) I will get deported to my country. I do not want to leave the USA, I love this place and i have been beating my ass off since i started to college to obtain a good GPA and obtain the best possible qualifications. But I never obtained the proper guidance, and completely underestimated the importance of securing multiple internships.

BTW i am NOT planning to do an MBA or MS, first i need some real world experience.

What should I do?
What other finance jobs can I apply for?
Should I bother with internships or apply for full time roles once I am about to graduate?
Do companies hire recent graduates for internships?
Should I apply for jobs outside finance?
Was anybody of you in my position? If so, what did you do?
