I Need help, anything would be appreciated.

Ok, so I just graduated and got a job in S&T and a BB. I was working on an equity derivatives prop trading desk for a couple months and loved it, but late last year it got basically cut. Now i'm (thankfully) still working on the equity derivatives structuring desk. I want to get back into trading, and not necessarily at a BB in NYC (maybe prop in houston or west coast or some hedgefund), but I'm worried it will be tough. I'm new, so I really don't know though. Any advice from some more experienced guys and seasoned trading vets. on if it'll be easy to jump to trading in say 2 - 5 years based on my position now? Basically, will other places think of it as a plus or minus, seeing as I would know the greeks inside and out, but not really how to trade them. Any advice would be helpful and sorry I'm long-winded.
