IB prospects and situation analysis

Hey, i have a couple questions and i was just wondering the opinions of some of the people in IB here. I was just wondering if investment banking is a good thing to go into still in 2018? Or should i say after i've finished my undergraduate and MBA starting soon. I am very early 20's and am starting CC soon i have a major in computer science set up. School hasn't started yet and i can potentially switch to finance. Hopefully i will be able to transfer into a 4 year school by my second year in community college. If i got my MBA that would be another year correct so i'd be getting out of it all at my later 20's. Do you think there could be a good career for me in investment banking waiting at that age and do you still think the prospects are decent?

Or do you think that at my age and experience that i'm more likely to have a successful career by sticking to CS major and working from there as the job growth and openings seem a bit more optimal?

Thank you for your time and i appreciate any input you have to offer.
