IB SA Interview

Hi,

I am currently a junior at a top public school (Michigan Ross, UC Haas, UVA McIntire) and am looking at SA positions for the coming year. There is on campus recruiting for most of the big firms here (BB, EB, MM, etc.) and they start their resume drop on Nov. 29th through Jan 7th. I currently have a 3.7 GPA and am wondering whether I should apply before this semesters grades come out (~Mid December) or after? I ask this because I am afraid this semester might not go too well and I wouldn't want to put

Thanks!

@"Skinnayyy" @"BTbanker" Okay, this may seem like a no brainer, but there's also a chance if I do well this semester (Get all A's) that I will have a 3.8. So my main thing is whether to risk having a better shot at an interview with potentially a 3.8 or just stick with my 3.7 now and not risk getting lower grades this semester. ...if that makes sense

I don't really think 3.5's are the cutoffs nowadays. The average GPA in my incoming class in my undergrad b-school of 300 is like a 3.7. I posted a thread here: http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/gpa-needed-for-ib-interviewsjobs that asked about the GPA's needed nowadays for interviews and I think the general consensus is at least 3.7 and 3.8 to be safe. So that was my though process. If 3.5+ really was the cut-off, everyone would be getting interviews at the best firms at my b-school, which is definitely not the case.
