IB vs Consulting

I'm a sophomore international student at a non-target. So far, I've been on the IB track but have only been to one superday. Throughout networking, I've enjoyed my conversations with consultants much more than those with bankers. I'm in a dilemma about if I should give up on IB totally (stop networking + studying for technicals) and focus on recruiting for consulting.
IB recruiting is over halfway done, I think and I'm still relatively early to the game for consulting. But as an international student, more banks seem willing to sponsor visas than consulting firms.
I would love to hear some opinions.

US in the short term and open to working in all three in the long term. Will probably study abroad at a top target in the UK next spring. I'm fluent in English, obviously and Hindi. I know a couple other regional Indian languages but that's not necessarily helpful.
