IBD => MBA => Trading?
how common is this?
i eventually want to get into trading, and im thinking of doing a MFE degree then transitioning into a trading role.
but is it better to get work experience first, even if not in trading?

Career Resources
Why would you start off in IBD in the first place, unless you're already there? It seems that an MFE is the best thing to get and then go into trading.
couldnt get a trading job out of undergrad
Ah ok. Well, I would go for the MFE and then go into Trading. Have you considered maybe getting some work exp at a prop firm or something? you're really experienced so surely they could benefit.
