ICAP assessment center

Does anyone have any information on this? I received an invite and am not really sure what to expect. From some research online it sounds like there is a group exercise a trading exercise, as well as an interview, as well as a math test. Does anyone know what type of material to study for the math test? What should I know for it. Also looking for information on the trading simulation and any way to prepare for it. Thanks everyone

It's something like a simulated Bloomberg news screen with info and ticker going on. You're supposed to answer the question within 1 minute and move on to the next. In the final 10 seconds of every questions, there will be beeping sound counting down and that was pretty nerve wreaking for me.

It's pretty simple math with basic understanding of FX. (at least that was for my case)

Hope it helps. :)

Which office are you applying by the way?

Structure: - Brief Intro/ Video Presentation - Numerical Test (SHL 20 qns in 20 min) - Trading Simulation (Timed MCQs based on various news flashes/ stock prices/ spot rates) noob_lao is right, no complex math, just be very comfortable converting rates around.. - 30 min interview with HR (Competency based)

good luck!

I have the onsite assessment in two weeks, could you guys provide some insight into what to expect? and how to study?

Also a question for more senior folks. - Understanding total compensation is obviously dependent upon the product you broker and business you bring in - suspecting energy and fixed income are now hot areas, what can an average senior person expected to bring home after brokering for 10 yrs?

Thank you!

PIE, I would like to receive more info on this topic but I can't pm you yet since I haven't had enough points to do so... Would you mind sending me some info along the way? I appreciate the help.
