It seems like everyone wants to get into PE now. If the economy stalls, PE positions will likely be few if any. What does everyone plan to do then?

i plan to travel a little and go to b-school when the market turns. it helps that i haven't spent any money from my bonuses for the past 3 years.

i'm in real estate private equity. promoted once at end of 2nd year to associate and will be promoted again soon (fingers crossed).
