If Someone You Knew Got Into Executive Programs For Wharton/HBS etc Would You See it As A Cheap Backdoor?
Title: If Someone You Knew Got Into Executive Programs For Wharton/HBS etc Would You See it As A Cheap Backdoor?
Had a conversation with a friend about this. I personally would. Since it would indicate to me that they weren't smart or competitive enough to get a strong GMAT score & couldn't get admitted regularly.
Look, I know 'executives' who are making $200k get into these programs but money does not necessarily equate to caliber of candidate. The overhwleming majority of people probably 95%+ in these exec programs would not have receieved admission regularly. Otherwise all of HBS would just be rich Saudi's.
As someone who went to an ivy, I personally hate that they do this, because it dilutes the brand.
