Sup, I'm majoring in Finance and I'm a junior at regional Florida college (UCF, FAU, USF, FGCU). My GPA is barely over a 3.5 and the only work experience I got was doing a labor intensive job for a heavily advertised local firm (yeah I'm huge). Like a lot of guys on this site, I want to do investment banking. But I'm seeing a lot of guys on here talking about first round interviews and Super Days so I'm not sure if I'm going to get an internship. I might apply for some F500 internships and network with some boutiques over Winter Break but I'll see what happens. Feel free to chime in.

you've got the right idea, but you are going to have something quantifiable within your experiences that gives the interviewer a logical understanding of why you want to do banking at this point. If possible, I would look into diversity programs or SEO if you were a minority student (had a friend who went to UCF, and he got interviews through that). It's going to be tough, but definitely possible if you're willing to hustle. Network around and get a regional/NY boutique offer.
