In need of a male’s perspective

A few months ago I got out of a 4 year relationship and am getting back into the dating world. I was a graduate intern at a firm this past summer (virtually) and have kept in touch with an associate who no longer works at the firm. We met up for coffee a month after the internship, and then a few months later I reached out for advice and he was really helpful. He offered to get a drinks in the spring when I move back to the city he lives in, and I got the feeling through our interactions that he may be interested and I’m starting to grow feelings as well.

On his own he had sent me an email about something to help me as I pursue a full time job. I sent an initial thank you response and then followed up with questions two weeks later. He hasn’t responded to my email in three days. He had normally responded to texts and emails in a very timely manner, so is this a sign he’s no longer interested in maintaining a connection? I know he had ignored another intern who had reached out to him.

A lot of people are being assholes on here. Just give it a few days but try not to overthink. He’ll pursue if he’s interested.

I need to stop reading into this stuff. I feel like there are many details missing.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee

Males cannot have a perspective by definition because they are the oppressor. They need to sit down shut up and listen to women and under represented minorities.

God lockdowns are really turning people into complete c*nts. Can't answer a question without being an ass about it, can you?

OP, he is either busy with work or more likely realized that you might be getting a wrong idea about his intentions and decided to take a step back. Either way, it's better to give him time to respond and maybe hit him up again after a week or so if you still feel the need to do so.
