In need of some resume feedback

Hey, I'm a rising sophomore at a non-target trying to get an IB internship next spring/summer and will be applying to BB Soph SA programs soon too. I'd be grateful if you guys could provide some feedback/suggestions to my resume, thanks

(Posted this on the resume advice forum but barely got a response.)

1) TOP: Try other fonts. Your name looks strange – to big, to odd 2) EDUCATION & HONORS: list classes relevant for you vacancy. Linear algebra – are you applying to algo hedge fund? Psychology – management position? 3) [No-name start-up consulting firm with only 1 employee] – any closed deals as BDO? What is the purpose of this CV?

Good formatting. But...

-I'd delete your HS from education...looks immature to a recruiter (I used to put my HS on my resume until a recruiter/HR friend told me it looked immature) -Delete Bed, Bath, and Beyond experience (also looks immature because most recruiters will just assume you were a cashier and/or stocked shelves whenever you include a department store or anything retail-related, which is irrelevant to Finance and the career you're hoping to pursue) -Add some space between each section...education ended and work experience began but it took me a few looks to realize that -Delete or change your "interests"...no one's going to believe you're genuinely interested in conversational Vietnamese (even if you actually are). Convert this to an "Additional Skills" section and add that + some BS about how great you are at Excel, PowerPoint, and the like.

Overall looks fine, especially for a sophomore, but I personally wouldn't make my Leadership/Volunteer stuff longer than my Work Experience...it reads strangely.

Why would having Bed, Bath and Beyond look immature?

I mean granted most people are going to think its stocking shelves/cashier role it still shows some type of character.

From people I talked to sometimes they would rather have a candidate that just worked during the summer over people with finance internships. It just depends on how you spin your story. (Of course not always the case but I don't think by having it, it would hurt at all)
