Include "Unusual" Experience?
Currently updating my resume after a few months in IB. I work at a boutique so sometimes there are unusual assignments. Long story short, one of our projects was advising a start up marijuana business which mainly entailed creating 1) reports consisting of potential future buyers, industry landscape, legal issues, competitors etc. and 2) financial models incorporating assumptions found in research; so basically anything to help these guys get on their feet and begin operations.
i was wondering if I should include this because it was a major project for the past few months, not sure if I have enough from my current position excluding this, and also no one involved really had that much knowledge / experience in the industry to begin with so a lot of my work had a direct impact on the start up and the direction the MD's wanted to take this project.
I'm hesitant since I'm not really sure what kind of reaction I'll get from a marijuana project in screening and interviews.
