Incoming BAML SA - Groups (Industrials/Healthcare/Consumer)
Was blessed to receive an offer from BAML NY and am considering a few groups -- Industrials, Healthcare and Consumer/Retail. Have heard that HC and Industrials are absolute sweatshops, a ton of first-years have already quit. Have also heard that Consumer/Retail is chiller, but they don't really do M&A (more ECM and follow-on work). Can anyone opine on just how bad Industrials and HC are? Would really appreciate the insight. I'm looking to execute M&A deals without necessarily going to an industry-agnostic M&A group.
Not sure who's giving you info, but C&R is definitely one of the top groups at the bank. I would be shocked if industrials and HC did anywhere close to the level of M&A execution C&R does.
