Incoming Emory Freshman Ask For Advice !!!

Hi everyone

I am an incoming Emory freshman and I want to break into I-banking in future.
In my high school, I do well (national prizes, high GPA, SAT 1550+, lots of perfect scores on SATIIs, APs). Emory is not my top choices (anyway I end up there).
I know Emory is not really a target( probably only Citi, Lazard and PWP's target). So should I plan to transfer to a target school( like Upenn CAS, Duke), or enter Goizueta and work my ass off?
I'm sure I am smart enough but for Strong targets like Wharton or HYPS my chance is too little (I am an international).

I don't like fratty, parties and I don't care about school spirit/sports teams, etc. I love warm weather. Honestly, I think I would fit well in Emory socially. I also understand TOP talents can go to BBs and EBs even they come from nowhere. But I just want to know if transferring to a target school can really make it much easier to get an IB job compared to Emory? Does that worth a transfer?

Thank you a lot for comments!

You can do both. Join clubs, set yourself up for success at Emory. It places decently and if you really want IB you can get there. However, it doesn’t hurt to apply for transfer. Just don’t put all your hope in either option or you’ll just disappoint yourself.
